Jeffrey Harlan Pennys advertises himself as “the dog bite lawyer,” claiming he “is an expert on Pennsylvania and New Jersey laws for dog attacks….” Pennys separates himself from other personal injury attorneys, stating, “ALL I handle are dog bite claims!!… If you look at all the lawyers who advertise online or in yellow pages, you will see they handle everything from car accidents to slip and falls….”

Curiously, the website www.1-800injurylaw.com brings you to the same attorney. On this site, Pennys promotes his personal injury practice, including auto accidents, slip and falls…and dog bites.

There is a difference between focusing on a specific practice area and claiming that’s all you do. Does this credibility example bite the attorney?
